Car Audio & DJ Equipment Near Cudahy

If you are looking for car audio or DJ equipment near Cudahy, you are practically next door. DJ Custom Audio is at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280, roughly 1.5 miles from the city of Cudahy by car, which works out to about 5 minutes without traffic. We do not have a branch in Cudahy and we do not do mobile installs. What we offer Cudahy customers is one well-stocked South Gate counter where the same team handles car audio and DJ equipment.

Cudahy is a city in Los Angeles County where a lot of people live in their cars between work, school and family, so audio upgrades get real use. Cudahy is in the Gateway Cities (Southeast LA County) area; our shop is south of Cudahy.

Car audio

Here is what Cudahy drivers usually ask us for. The work includes subwoofers and enclosures, for bass you can feel without rattling the whole car; speaker upgrades, which fix muddy factory sound more than anything else; head units with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so maps, calls and music run through a proper screen instead of a phone mount; amplifiers, to power speakers and subs cleanly; and alarms and remote start (Viper only), for security and a cool cabin on hot days. Because you are so close, it is easy to drop off a car and pick it up the same day.

We're an authorized JL Audio and Alpine dealer, and we also carry Kicker, Focal and Pioneer. A lot of installs get done the same day. Bought something online already? We install customer-supplied gear too. Daily drivers, work trucks, boats and Can-Am machines all come through the bay. We stick to sound, security, cameras and lighting, and we only put in gear we trust.

DJ equipment

Cudahy DJs, bands, churches and families shop our DJ and pro audio floor. Categories include turntables and media players, powered speakers, cases and stands, mixers, lighting (wash, moving heads, lasers) and subwoofers, along with microphones and wireless systems, cables and accessories, fog, haze and bubble effects, DJ controllers and amps and processing. You will see Chauvet, RCF, Technical Pro, JBL and Shure on the shelves, plus QSC, ADJ, Mackie, Pioneer DJ and Electro-Voice. A DJ from Cudahy upgrading to a new controller, a church adding wireless mics, and a family building a party system can all be helped in one visit.

Packages save guesswork. A quinceañera or wedding party system and a starter DJ setup are two we build often, matched so every piece works together. We sell DJ gear only: no rentals, no DJs for hire, and no DJ equipment repair. Ask Joe on the DJ side about setup and software like Serato; he works with this gear himself.

Why make the drive

There are good reasons Cudahy customers shop in person with us. You can hear the difference between speakers and subs on our demo displays before you spend a dollar. You can reserve gear by phone and pick it up at the counter, so nothing is sold out when you arrive. You can hold a DJ controller or mixer, test a wireless mic, and compare powered speakers side by side. You get an honest recommendation, including when a cheaper option is the right call.
