Los Altos customers make the 15.9-mile trip to DJ Custom Audio in South Gate for car audio installs and DJ equipment they can see, hear and take home the same day. Without traffic, the drive from Los Altos, a neighborhood of Long Beach, runs about 22 minutes. There is no DJ Custom Audio location in Los Altos. We run one shop, in South Gate, and everything happens there: installs, demos, gear pickup and Payment Plan paperwork.

DJ equipment

Los Altos DJs, bands, churches and families shop our DJ and pro audio floor. We stock powered speakers, cases and stands, turntables and media players, lighting (wash, moving heads, lasers), cables and accessories, DJ controllers, microphones and wireless systems and subwoofers, and mixers, amps and processing and fog, haze and bubble effects. Our DJ and pro audio lines are Chauvet, QSC, Mackie, ADJ, RCF, JBL, Pioneer DJ, Electro-Voice, Shure and Technical Pro. The drive

DJ Custom Audio is about 15.9 miles from Los Altos by road (11.5 miles in a straight line), and the shop is north of Los Altos. Without traffic the drive takes about 22 minutes; rush hour can add a lot more, so check your maps app before you leave. The usual route from Los Altos uses I-405 (San Diego Freeway) and I-710 (Long Beach Freeway), then surface streets such as North Bellflower Boulevard and Firestone Boulevard for the final miles.

The last stretch brings you to Atlantic Avenue at Firestone Boulevard in South Gate. The shop is at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280, next to the 7-Eleven. Parking is on site, and a shopping center sits across the street, so you can grab food while an install is underway.
