Car audio

Car audio is half of what we do, and San Pedro drivers keep the bay busy. The work includes speaker upgrades, which fix muddy factory sound more than anything else; amplifiers, to power speakers and subs cleanly; GPS and lighting, to round out the build; head units with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so maps, calls and music run through a proper screen instead of a phone mount; and alarms and remote start (Viper only), for security and a cool cabin on hot days. The drive

DJ Custom Audio is about 21.5 miles from San Pedro by road (16.2 miles in a straight line), and the shop is northeast of San Pedro. Without traffic the drive takes about 27 minutes; rush hour can add a lot more, so check your maps app before you leave. The usual route from San Pedro uses I-110 (Harbor Freeway), CA-91 (Gardena Freeway) and I-710 (Long Beach Freeway), then surface streets such as South Gaffey Street and Firestone Boulevard for the final miles.

You will end up at Atlantic Avenue and Firestone Boulevard. Pull into the lot next to the 7-Eleven at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280; parking is on site, and there is a shopping center across the street.
