Westlake customers make the 13.5-mile trip to DJ Custom Audio in South Gate for car audio installs and DJ equipment they can see, hear and take home the same day. We run one shop, in South Gate, and everything happens there: installs, demos, gear pickup and Payment Plan paperwork.

The drive

DJ Custom Audio is about 13.5 miles from Westlake by road (9.2 miles in a straight line), and the shop is southeast of Westlake. Without traffic the drive takes about 19 minutes; rush hour can add a lot more, so check your maps app before you leave. The usual route from Westlake uses US-101 (Hollywood Freeway), I-5 (Santa Ana Freeway) and I-710 (Long Beach Freeway), then surface streets such as South Alvarado Street and Firestone Boulevard for the final miles.

The last stretch brings you to Atlantic Avenue at Firestone Boulevard in South Gate. The shop is at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280, next to the 7-Eleven. Parking is on site, and a shopping center sits across the street, so you can grab food while an install is underway.
