Car Audio & DJ Equipment Near Westmont

Searching for a car stereo shop or DJ equipment store near Westmont? DJ Custom Audio is about 8.8 miles away by car at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280, roughly a 18-minute drive without heavy traffic. We do not have a branch in Westmont and we do not do mobile installs. What we offer Westmont customers is one well-stocked South Gate counter where the same team handles car audio and DJ equipment.

Because Westmont is unincorporated Los Angeles County territory, many locals already head into neighboring cities for specialty shopping, and South Gate is an easy stop. Coming from the South Bay & South LA area, you head east to reach us.

Car audio

Car audio is half of what we do, and Westmont drivers keep the bay busy. The work includes alarms and remote start (Viper only), for security and a cool cabin on hot days; GPS and lighting, to round out the build; subwoofers and enclosures, for bass you can feel without rattling the whole car; speaker upgrades, which fix muddy factory sound more than anything else; and full sound systems, planned around your car and budget. The drive is short enough that most install customers wait at the shop or run errands nearby.

We're an authorized JL Audio and Alpine dealer, and we also carry Kicker, Focal and Pioneer. A lot of installs get done the same day. Daily drivers, work trucks, boats and Can-Am machines all come through the bay. We keep it to sound, security, cameras and lighting, and we only put in gear we'd run in our own rides.

DJ equipment

Westmont DJs, bands, churches and families shop our DJ and pro audio floor. We stock cases and stands, lighting (wash, moving heads, lasers), subwoofers, DJ controllers, powered speakers, microphones and wireless systems, fog, haze and bubble effects and amps and processing, and mixers, cables and accessories and turntables and media players. You will see ADJ, JBL, Pioneer DJ, Technical Pro and Shure on the shelves, plus Electro-Voice, Mackie, QSC, Chauvet and RCF. Common Westmont requests: a first controller and speakers, a bigger PA for a growing church, or lighting to finish a setup.

Not sure where to start? Ask about our equipment packages: a DJ lighting kit, a starter DJ setup and a backyard party PA are popular picks. We sell DJ gear only: no rentals, no DJs for hire, and no DJ equipment repair. Joe will help you set up your gear and get Serato running before you leave.

The usual route from Westmont uses I-110 (Harbor Freeway), then surface streets such as West Manchester Avenue and Firestone Boulevard for the final miles.

Look for the corner of Atlantic and Firestone. We are next to the 7-Eleven at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280, with parking on site and a shopping center across the street if you want to wait nearby during an install.

Why make the drive

Why drive in from Westmont instead of ordering online? You can see how a head unit screen will look, and ask whether it fits your dash. You can reserve gear by phone and pick it up at the counter, so nothing is sold out when you arrive. You can hold a DJ controller or mixer, test a wireless mic, and compare powered speakers side by side. You get an honest recommendation, including when a cheaper option is the right call.
