What it is
Compact Alpine R-Series mono amp for a sub that needs clean power.
The Alpine R2-A150M is a next-generation R-Series mono subwoofer amplifier using a Class D circuit. It is rated at 700W RMS at 4 ohms, 1200W RMS at 2 ohms and 1500W RMS at 1 ohm, enough to drive one or more serious subwoofers. Speaker and power connections are grouped on one side for cleaner installs, the tuning controls sit on top under a removable cover plate, and integrated mounting feet simplify placement. Frequency response is 10Hz to 400Hz, with a signal-to-noise ratio above 75dB and a damping factor above 250. An optional remote bass knob (RUX-KNOB.2 or RUX-H01, sold separately) adds level control from the driver seat. Measures about 13.5 x 2.6 x 7.3 inches. Suited to high-output subwoofer systems.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
