What it is
Alpine BassRev 6.5-inch coaxials built for extra low end when tuned with OPTIM8. Special orders welcome.
The Alpine BRV-S65 is a 6.5-inch BassRev speaker system, a coaxial pair with a recessed 1-inch tweeter. It is designed to pair with the Alpine OPTIM8 processor using OPTIM Sync tuning. With that tuning on, Alpine lists a 38Hz-20kHz response, compared with 60Hz-20kHz without it. A HEDGE rubber surround and lapel-shaped polypropylene and mica cone allow extra excursion. Power handling is 50W RMS and 150W peak, sensitivity is 84dB and mounting depth is 2-3/8 inches. A gun-metal coating finishes the ferrite motor.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
