What it is
Alpine BassRev 4-inch component set built for extra low end when tuned with OPTIM8. Special orders welcome.
The Alpine BRV-S40C is a 4-inch BassRev speaker system, a component set with separate 3/4-inch tweeters. Passive crossovers are not included, so it is meant to run actively with the Alpine OPTIM8 processor using OPTIM Sync tuning. With that tuning on, Alpine lists a 67Hz-20kHz response, compared with 75Hz-20kHz without it. A HEDGE rubber surround and lapel-shaped polypropylene and mica cone allow extra excursion. Power handling is 40W RMS and 120W peak, sensitivity is 84dB and mounting depth is 1-3/4 inches. A gun-metal coating finishes the ferrite motor.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
