What it is
Alpine R-Series Pro 2-way set with die-cast baskets and full passive crossovers. Special orders welcome.
The Alpine R2-S652 is a Next-Generation R-Series Pro 6.5-inch 2-way component system that is Hi-Res Audio certified. Each side pairs a glass fiber reinforced mid-bass driver in a die-cast aluminum basket with a 1-inch magnesium hard-dome tweeter, joined by a full passive crossover network. Power handling is 100W RMS and 300W peak, and frequency response runs 65Hz-40kHz. H.A.M.R. surrounds allow high excursion, tweeters swivel in threaded removable housings, and open mesh grilles plus mounting hardware are in the box. A strong front-stage choice with a 4- or 5-channel amp.
