What it is
Alpine R-Series 10-inch dual voice coil sub, a hard hitter for its size.
The Alpine R2-W10D2 is a next-generation R-Series 10-inch subwoofer with dual 2-ohm voice coils. It handles 750W RMS and 2250W peak, with 82.4dB sensitivity and a 26Hz to 200Hz frequency response. A Kevlar-reinforced pulp cone, polypropylene/ceramic composite dust cap and Alpine's High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround allow 20mm of total cone excursion while staying cool. Double-stacked magnets with an integrated Faraday ring drive the cone, and jumper-wire voice coil configuration simplifies wiring. The EZ-Change twist-lock mount accepts the optional KTE-10G grille without screws. Mounting depth is 6 inches. A good choice for strong bass from a 10-inch sub in sealed or ported enclosures.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
