The drive

Without traffic the drive takes about 17 minutes; rush hour can add a lot more, so check your maps app before you leave. The usual route from Chinatown uses US-101 (Santa Ana Freeway), I-5 (Santa Ana Freeway) and I-710 (Long Beach Freeway), then surface streets such as North Alameda Street and Firestone Boulevard for the final miles.

You will end up at Atlantic Avenue and Firestone Boulevard. Pull into the lot next to the 7-Eleven at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280; parking is on site, and there is a shopping center across the street.
