Car Audio & DJ Equipment Near Ontario

From the city of Ontario, DJ Custom Audio is about 40.6 miles away by car (plan on 52 minutes or more depending on traffic). That is a real drive, so this page lays out exactly what is worth the trip and how to get here. To be clear about how we work: DJ Custom Audio has a single store at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280. Ontario customers drive in, and we make that trip worth it with gear on display, installs in our bay and straight answers.

Ontario is a city in San Bernardino County where a lot of people live in their cars between work, school and family, so audio upgrades get real use. On a map, Ontario falls in the Inland Empire (San Bernardino County) part of San Bernardino County, and South Gate is west of it.

Car audio

Here is what Ontario drivers usually ask us for. The work includes full sound systems, planned around your car and budget; subwoofers and enclosures, for bass you can feel without rattling the whole car; speaker upgrades, which fix muddy factory sound more than anything else; backup cameras and dash cams, for safer parking and a record of the road; and head units with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so maps, calls and music run through a proper screen instead of a phone mount. From this distance, most customers book installs ahead of time so the car goes straight into the bay.

We're an authorized JL Audio and Alpine dealer, and we also carry Kicker, Focal and Pioneer. A lot of installs get done the same day. Bought something online already? We install customer-supplied gear too. Daily drivers, work trucks, boats and Can-Am machines all come through the bay. Tony keeps the bay focused on sound, security, cameras and lighting, done right the first time.

DJ equipment

If you DJ, run sound for a church, or are putting together a system for a family party in Ontario, we sell the equipment to do it. On the floor you will find cases and stands, lighting (wash, moving heads, lasers), amps and processing, mixers, DJ controllers, cables and accessories and subwoofers, plus fog, haze and bubble effects, powered speakers, microphones and wireless systems and turntables and media players. Brands we carry include Technical Pro, QSC, Shure, Chauvet, RCF, Mackie, Pioneer DJ, Electro-Voice, JBL and ADJ. Common Ontario requests: a first controller and speakers, a bigger PA for a growing church, or lighting to finish a setup.

Packages save guesswork. A DJ lighting kit and a backyard party PA are two we build often, matched so every piece works together. Everything here is for sale: no rentals, no DJs for hire, and no DJ equipment repair. Ask Joe on the DJ side about setup and software like Serato; he works with this gear himself.

The drive

DJ Custom Audio is about 40.6 miles from Ontario by road (33.7 miles in a straight line), and the shop is west of Ontario. Without traffic the drive takes about 52 minutes; rush hour can add a lot more, so check your maps app before you leave. The usual route from Ontario uses CA-60 (Pomona Freeway) and I-605 (San Gabriel River Freeway), then surface streets such as South Vineyard Avenue and Firestone Boulevard for the final miles.

Look for the corner of Atlantic and Firestone. We are next to the 7-Eleven at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280, with parking on site and a shopping center across the street if you want to wait nearby during an install.

Why make the drive

There are good reasons Ontario customers shop in person with us. You get an honest recommendation, including when a cheaper option is the right call. You can see how a head unit screen will look, and ask whether it fits your dash. You talk to the people who will actually install your system, not a call center. You can hear the difference between speakers and subs on our demo displays before you spend a dollar.
