What it is
Alpine Status hi-res source unit with a hidden black box and a compact commander display. Special orders welcome.
The Alpine Status HDS-990 is a high-resolution source unit built for serious sound systems. A black box with the electronics mounts out of sight, and a slim commander with a built-in display and six classic Alpine buttons goes where you can reach it. It plays files up to 192kHz/24-bit, including FLAC, ALAC, DSD and WAV, and streams wirelessly over Bluetooth with LDAC, aptX HD and AAC. It has three USB inputs, optical and coaxial digital outputs, 6-channel RCA outputs, three 4V preamp outputs and a 25W x 4 built-in amp. It pairs with the HDP-D90 processor.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
