What it is
Excelon single-DIN media receiver with 5V preamps, a shallow chassis and no CD slot.
The Kenwood Excelon KMM-X705 is a single-DIN digital media receiver with no CD mechanism, so the chassis is only about 100 mm (3-15/16 inches) deep. It has Bluetooth 4.2 with dual-phone connection and up to five paired devices, Amazon Alexa compatibility through the Kenwood app, a front USB port with 1.5A charging, an aux input and an HD Radio tuner. For sound it offers 5V preamp outputs, a 13-band EQ, digital time alignment and FLAC playback up to 96kHz/24-bit, with 22W x 4 full bandwidth (50W x 4 max). A strong base for an amplified system in a single-DIN dash.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
