What it is
Keep your factory radio and still get clean signal for aftermarket amps.
The JL Audio FiX 86 is an OEM integration digital signal processor with 8 input channels and 6 output channels, designed to get clean, full-range signal out of a factory audio system without replacing the factory radio. Its inputs accept virtually any OEM signal, from low-voltage line level to amplified speaker-level outputs up to 30 volts RMS. The 24-bit DSP automatically corrects time-delayed factory outputs before summing, then applies quad 1/3-octave equalization to flatten factory EQ curves. Calibration takes a single button press and about 30 seconds, and diagnostics are available through JL's TuN software over USB. It suits anyone adding aftermarket amplifiers and speakers to a vehicle with a factory head unit.
