What it is
Alpine Status 2-way component set with carbon composite woofers and tweeters. Special orders welcome.
The Alpine Status HDZ-65C is a 6.5-inch 2-way component speaker set from the Status line. It pairs a 6.5-inch mid-bass driver with a 1.25-inch high range driver, both with carbon composite diaphragms and Alpine's double gathered edge surround. Power handling is 100W RMS and 300W peak, sensitivity is 88dB and frequency response runs 55Hz-40kHz. It is designed for 192kHz/24-bit Hi-Res playback as part of a full Alpine Status system. A slim-fit version, the HDZ-65CS, uses a smaller tweeter for tighter mounting spots.
