What it is
Focal K2 Power 2-way component set with the yellow aramid cones.
The Focal ES 165 KX2E is a 6-1/2-inch 2-way component kit from the fourth-generation Elite K2 Power line, made in France. Each woofer uses Focal's K2 sandwich cone (aramid and glass fiber around a foam core) with a TMD surround, paired with the M-profile aluminum/magnesium FRAK inverted-dome tweeter. The kit handles 120 watts RMS (240 watts max) at 2 ohms, with 92.5 dB sensitivity and 55 Hz to 32 kHz response. Bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers offer tweeter level adjustment, aluminum grilles are included, and the tweeters support several mounting options. Suited to high-end, amplified sound quality builds.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
