What it is
Focal K2 Power 3-way set with a dedicated midrange.
The Focal ES 165 KX3E is a 6-1/2-inch 3-way component kit from the fourth-generation Elite K2 Power line, made in France. It pairs two 6-1/2-inch woofers with K2 sandwich cones (aramid and glass fiber around a foam core) and TMD surrounds, two 3-inch (80mm) K2 midranges, and two M-profile aluminum/magnesium FRAK inverted-dome tweeters. Power handling is 120 watts RMS (240 watts max), with 93 dB sensitivity and 45 Hz to 32 kHz response. Bi-amplifiable audiophile crossovers, aluminum grilles and a midrange/tweeter bracket with several installation options are included. Aimed at high-end builds with active or multi-amp setups.
Pickup is at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm it is on the wall before you drive.
