The JL Audio 12W3v3-2 is a 12-inch W3v3 subwoofer with a single 2-ohm voice coil. It handles 500 watts RMS (150 to 500 watts recommended), rates 87.2 dB sensitivity and has 13 mm of one-way excursion. Mounting depth is 6.65 inches with an 11.06-inch cutout, and it works in sealed boxes around 1.25 cubic feet or ported boxes around 1.75. The 2-ohm coil suits a single sub on a mono amp for full output.
