What it is
Club-standard direct-drive turntable with high torque and a 0.3-second start. Call to check stock.
The Pioneer DJ PLX-1000 is a professional direct-drive turntable built around a high-torque, quartz-locked motor. It starts in 0.3 seconds at 33 1/3 rpm, and the tempo range switches between 8, 16 and 50 percent. The S-shaped tone arm uses a gimbal-supported bearing, and the aluminum die-cast platter sits in a heavy chassis that fights vibration. Power and RCA audio cables detach for easy replacement. It weighs about 28.9 lb.
Joe can hold it for pickup at the South Gate shop. Call to confirm before you come over.
