Chauvet DJ GigBAR 2 4-in-1 Lighting System
- Derbys, pars, laser, strobes
- Tripod included
- Foot switch
$599.99
Pick the GigBAR 2 if you want a first mobile rig with derbys, pars, a laser and strobes, plus a tripod and foot switch in the box. Pick the GigBAR 3 ILS for house parties when you want color and movement without a laser, and room to grow with ILS. Pick the GigBAR Move ILS for quinceañeras and weddings where moving heads sell the look, and the GigBAR Bridge ILS when you already have effects and want two bigger moving head spots and two washes for bigger shows.
Every GigBAR puts several lights on one bar so you set up one stand instead of four. That is the whole appeal for a mobile DJ. You roll in, raise the bar, plug in and you have a show.
The four bars here split into two groups. The GigBAR 2 and GigBAR 3 ILS use fixed effects like derbies, pars and strobes. The GigBAR Move ILS and GigBAR Bridge ILS add real moving heads. We are an authorized Chauvet DJ dealer, so all four come through our shop the normal way.
This table is built only from our own product listings. Where a listing does not state a spec, the cell says so instead of guessing.
Missing weight or DMX info does not mean the bar lacks it. It just means our listing does not say. Ask Joe and he can check the manual with you on the floor.
Chauvet DJ GigBAR systems compared, from our product listings. "Not in our listing" means our product page does not state that spec, so ask us before you count on it.

The GigBAR 2 is the busiest fixed-effect bar of the group. It has two derbys, two RGB+UV wash pars, a red and green laser and four white/UV strobes. That covers the dance floor, the walls and the ceiling, all from built-in auto and sound-active programs. Its listing puts power draw at 68W.
The GigBAR 3 ILS keeps two derbies and two RGB+UV pars but swaps the laser and strobes for an RGB LED strip. No laser is listed on this one, which some venues will like. It also has a full-color LCD and room on the bar for up to four more fixtures.
The GigBAR Move ILS packs the most into one bar: two moving heads, an RGBW derby, three RGBAW+UV hex washes, a red, green and blue laser and a 4-LED white strobe. Its listing puts power draw at 250W, so plan your outlet. The GigBAR Bridge ILS is simpler on paper, with two moving head spots and two hex washes and nothing else.
Moving heads are what make a room look like a real production. They sweep beams and gobo patterns across the crowd, the dance floor and the ceiling. Only the Move and the Bridge have them.
The GigBAR Move ILS uses 32W white LED moving heads with 9 colors and 9 gobos, and they share the bar with a derby, washes, a laser and a strobe. It is one bar that does almost everything.
The GigBAR Bridge ILS uses 70 W LED moving head spots, also with 9 colors and 9 gobos, plus 540-degree pan and 270-degree tilt. Bigger spots usually throw a brighter, punchier beam, so the Bridge leans toward bigger rooms. The tradeoff is that it has no derby, laser or strobe on the bar, so you add those separately if you want them.
If you never want to touch a lighting controller, the GigBAR 2, GigBAR 3 ILS and GigBAR Move ILS all list a wireless foot switch and a remote. Tap your foot to change the look between songs and let the sound-active programs do the rest.
The GigBAR 2 runs 3, 11 or 23 DMX channels if you later add a DMX controller. The Move runs 3, 29 or 51 channels and has built-in D-Fi wireless. The Bridge has a built-in D-Fi transceiver for wireless DMX and ILS, a color LCD and power linking to cut down on extension cords.
ILS is Chauvet DJ's way of syncing compatible fixtures so they work as one show. The GigBAR 3 ILS, Move ILS and Bridge ILS all list it. Our GigBAR 2 listing does not mention ILS, so treat it as a stand-alone bar.
First mobile rig: the GigBAR 2. It comes with the tripod, bag, remote and foot switch, so you are not shopping for extras on day one. House parties and backyard gigs: the GigBAR 2 or the GigBAR 3 ILS, depending on whether you want a laser and strobes or a cleaner look with an LED strip.
Quinceañeras and weddings: the GigBAR Move ILS. Moving heads during the grand entrance and the first dance look great in photos and video, and you still get washes to color the room. It comes with a tripod and carry bags too.
Bigger shows: the GigBAR Bridge ILS, usually next to effects you already own. Our listing does not show a stand in the box, so ask us what you need to put it in the air.
The Chauvet DJ ILS Command is a controller made for ILS lights. It works over a cable or through its built-in D-Fi transmitter, has a follow spot mode for grand entrances and stores six presets. Its listing notes most lights need a D-Fi USB receiver for wireless, so ask us how it talks to the bar you pick.
The Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 1DX is a water-based hazer that makes beams and lasers actually show. Without haze, moving head beams mostly disappear in the air. The Chauvet DJ Kinta FX ILS adds a derby, strobe and laser in one small fixture, which fills the gap on a GigBAR 3 ILS or a Bridge. Some venues limit haze or lasers, so check before the gig.

Buy lights for the rooms you actually play, not for the biggest show you have seen online. For most DJs that means one all-in-one bar or effect light plus a small fog or haze machine first, then uplights or moving heads as the gigs grow. Here is how we walk people through it at the shop in South Gate.
Read itGood lights turn a room into a dance floor. You do not need a truck full of gear to start. Here is how we help DJs build a lighting kit that looks good and sets up fast.
Read itPick a hazer like the Chauvet DJ Hurricane Haze 1DX or ADJ Entour Faze Jr if you want light beams and lasers to show all night without a thick cloud. Pick a fog machine like the Chauvet DJ Hurricane 1000 or 1600 for bursts of fog at house parties and bigger rooms. Pick a fog jet like the Chauvet DJ Geyser P7 or ADJ Fog Fury Jett for colored vertical plumes at entrances and drops, and the ADJ Entour Chill for low-lying fog on a first dance.
Read itOnly the GigBAR Move ILS and the GigBAR Bridge ILS. The GigBAR 2 and GigBAR 3 ILS use derbies, pars and other fixed effects.
Our GigBAR 2 and GigBAR Move ILS listings include a tripod. The GigBAR 3 ILS and GigBAR Bridge ILS listings do not mention one, so ask us before you count on it.
Not to start. The built-in auto and sound-active programs plus the listed remote and wireless foot switch run a full show. A controller like the ILS Command or a DMX controller is an upgrade for more control later.
Yes. Joe runs the DJ floor and can walk you through the foot switch, remote and basic setup when you pick up at the shop.
No, we sell only, we do not lend out gear. Call or text to confirm the one you want is on the floor, then buy and pick up at the shop.
