Car Audio & DJ Equipment Near East Rancho Dominguez

DJ Custom Audio is not in East Rancho Dominguez, but it is close: about 6.2 driving miles north of East Rancho Dominguez (about 10 minutes without traffic), at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280. We do not have a branch in East Rancho Dominguez and we do not do mobile installs. What we offer East Rancho Dominguez customers is one well-stocked South Gate counter where the same team handles car audio and DJ equipment.

East Rancho Dominguez is an unincorporated community in Los Angeles County, so residents are used to driving a few miles for a specialty shop. We try to make that trip count. On a map, East Rancho Dominguez falls in the Gateway Cities (Southeast LA County) part of Los Angeles County, and South Gate is north of it.

Car audio

Car audio is half of what we do, and East Rancho Dominguez drivers keep the bay busy. The work includes full sound systems, planned around your car and budget; alarms and remote start (Viper only), for security and a cool cabin on hot days; GPS and lighting, to round out the build; subwoofers and enclosures, for bass you can feel without rattling the whole car; and amplifiers, to power speakers and subs cleanly. The drive is short enough that most install customers wait at the shop or run errands nearby.

We're an authorized JL Audio and Alpine dealer, and we also carry Kicker, Focal and Pioneer. A lot of installs get done the same day. We work on cars, trucks, boats and powersports like Can-Am machines. Tony keeps the bay focused on sound, security, cameras and lighting, done right the first time.

DJ equipment

The other half of the shop is DJ and pro audio equipment for sale, and a lot of East Rancho Dominguez buyers come for it. Categories include amps and processing, cases and stands, turntables and media players, subwoofers, DJ controllers and cables and accessories, along with microphones and wireless systems, powered speakers, lighting (wash, moving heads, lasers), fog, haze and bubble effects and mixers. Brands we carry include QSC, Electro-Voice, ADJ, Pioneer DJ, Mackie, Chauvet, Shure, Technical Pro, JBL and RCF. A DJ from East Rancho Dominguez upgrading to a new controller, a church adding wireless mics, and a family building a party system can all be helped in one visit.

Not sure where to start? Ask about our equipment packages: a church or venue PA, a quinceañera or wedding party system and a DJ lighting kit are popular picks. We sell DJ gear only: no rentals, no DJs for hire, and no DJ equipment repair. Joe will help you set up your gear and get Serato running before you leave.

The drive

DJ Custom Audio is about 6.2 miles from East Rancho Dominguez by road (4.1 miles in a straight line), and the shop is north of East Rancho Dominguez. Without traffic the drive takes about 10 minutes; rush hour can add a lot more, so check your maps app before you leave. The usual route from East Rancho Dominguez uses I-710 (Long Beach Freeway), then surface streets such as Firestone Boulevard for the final miles.

Look for the corner of Atlantic and Firestone. We are next to the 7-Eleven at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate, CA 90280, with parking on site and a shopping center across the street if you want to wait nearby during an install.

Why make the drive

There are good reasons East Rancho Dominguez customers shop in person with us. You can see how a head unit screen will look, and ask whether it fits your dash. You get an honest recommendation, including when a cheaper option is the right call. You talk to the people who will actually install your system, not a call center. You can hold a DJ controller or mixer, test a wireless mic, and compare powered speakers side by side.
