BMW X1 speaker upgrade
On the first X1 generation, the rear side panels are the spot we have confirmed so far. X1 models from 2013 to 2015 take 3.5-inch speakers in the rear side panels; the doors and newer years need a check at the shop. We have verified sizes for 1 of 6 year ranges or trims in our table; anything not verified says "Confirm fit at the shop".

If the new speaker is a different size or deeper than the factory one, it can need an adapter bracket. Tony checks with your car in front of him before he starts.
How it works at the shop
Buy and install at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate. Tony installs in our own bay, often the same day. Everything is picked up at the shop.

What size speakers fit the BMW X1?
It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2013–2015: 3.5" in the rear side panels. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.
Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?
Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
Can you install them in South Gate?
