GMC Yukon speaker upgrade
A Yukon is a big cabin to fill. Older Yukons use 6.5-inch door speakers, 2007 to 2014 trucks take 6.5 to 6.75-inch class speakers, and 2015 and newer move to 6x9s in the front doors. We have verified sizes for 6 of 6 year ranges or trims in our table; anything not verified says "Confirm fit at the shop".

Install notes
- 2007–2014: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-3304 double-DIN kit lists Yukon 2007-2014.
- 2003–2006: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 99-2011 (single or double DIN) lists Yukon 2003-2006. Factory Bose premium sound can wire differently; Tony checks your trim before you buy.
- 2000–2002: Factory Bose premium sound can wire differently; Tony checks your trim before you buy.
- 1995–1999: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-3003G double-DIN lists Yukon 1995-1999 (dash modification required).
If the new speaker is a different size or deeper than the factory one, it can need an adapter bracket. Tony checks with your car in front of him before he starts.
How it works at the shop
Buy and install at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate. Tony installs in our own bay, often the same day. Everything is picked up at the shop.

What size speakers fit the GMC Yukon?
It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2021–2026: 6x9" in the front doors, 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors; 2015–2020: 6x9" in the front doors, 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors; 2007–2014: 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the front doors, 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors, 3.5" in the center dash. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.
Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?
Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
