  • 2024: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 99-8271CHG (single or double DIN).
  • 2010–2023: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 99-8271CHG / 99-8271S (ISO double-DIN or single-DIN with pocket); newer version retains hazard button on mid-2020+ models. Factory JBL premium sound can need an interface for the factory amp; Tony checks your trim before you buy.
  • 2003–2009 · Limited without factory navigation: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-8210 (double-DIN) or 99-8210 (single-DIN).
  • 2003–2009 · SR5/Sport (non-Limited): If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-8202 (double DIN) or 99-8206 (single DIN). Factory JBL premium sound can wire differently; Tony checks your trim before you buy.
  • 2003–2009 · with factory navigation: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-8202 (double DIN) or 99-8206 (single DIN); Crutchfield lists both with factory navigation.

If the new speaker is a different size or deeper than the factory one, it can need an adapter bracket. Tony checks with your car in front of him before he starts.

Buy and install at 8696 Atlantic Ave, South Gate. Tony installs in our own bay, often the same day. Everything is picked up at the shop.

What size speakers fit the Toyota 4Runner?

It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2025–2026: 6.5" or 6-3/4" in the rear doors; 2024: 6x9" in the front doors, 3.5" in the dash, 6.5" in the rear doors; 2010–2023: 6x9" in the front doors, 3.5" in the dash, 6.5" in the rear doors. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.

Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?

Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
