BMW X5 speaker upgrade
The X5's door speaker size changed between generations, so it pays to know the exact size for your year. X5 models from 2014 to 2018 take 4-inch speakers in the front and rear doors, and 2007 to 2013 models take 3.5-inch speakers in the front doors, rear doors and center dash; newer X5s need a check at the shop. We have verified sizes for 2 of 6 year ranges or trims in our table; anything not verified says "Confirm fit at the shop".

- 2006: If you are also swapping the radio: Metra 95-9308B (double DIN, all but Base model, without factory navigation); 99-9301 (single DIN, all but Base model, without factory navigation); 95-9308B (double DIN, Base model, without factory navigation); 99-9301 (single DIN, Base model, without factory navigation); non-amplified systems: Metra lists 70-9003.
If the new speaker is a different size or deeper than the factory one, it can need an adapter bracket. Tony checks with your car in front of him before he starts.

What size speakers fit the BMW X5?
It depends on the year. Some we have verified: 2014–2018: 4" in the front doors, 4" in the rear doors; 2007–2013: 3.5" in the center dash, 3.5" in the front doors, 3.5" in the rear doors. Any other spot or year: confirm fit at the shop.
Do I need a new radio or an amp to upgrade the speakers?
Not always. New speakers can run off the factory radio. Some factory premium systems use an amp that needs an interface; we check your trim before you buy.
Can you install them in South Gate?
